Living Drone: Bury My Bones — "#2 Lonely "

Live @ Titwrench Fest, 2010

Bury My Bones is the brain child of one Diana Sperstad, a Denver-based guitarist/songwriter who's kept relatively quiet on the scene until recently. Her last project, Breakfastes (which I may or may not have thumped some tubs for at a couple of shows), brought the gorgeous "Ageless" into the brief spotlight as a contribution to the Hot Congress vol. 1 compilation (which is still available for free download, BTW). Bury My Bones feels like her true labor of love though, and when paired with the flailing abandon of former Fissure Mystic spider monkey Fez Guzman, the results are nothing short of magical. "#2 Lonely" finds a nifty little nook somewhere between Sonic Youth, Nirvana and Sleater-Kinney, but with the added droning crunch of shoegaze distortion and some beautifully somber vocals to boot. How did I miss this festival? Thanks, Titwrench

I think he's got a lot more he hasn't posted and he's been known to take requests for prioritized posting.
