Michael Sempert of San Francisco's Birds & Batteries was kind enough to send over the band's new video from last year's insatiably funky Up To No Good EP. "Out In The Woods" plays directly into the group's penchant for nerd-funkiness with digital and analogue components swimming together in a tip-toeing groove. The video is less sneaky with kaleidoscopic swirls of color before something of a narrative arrives—a celestially traveling seed that turns a planetary wasteland into a thriving forest. The ending visuals and the soooooper 90s-style digital animations have me thinking of the excellent "Walking With Dinosaurs" DVDs, only with a much better soundtrack. You could also just throw this on the ol' full screen and pretend it's your screensaver on your LC II back in the day.
