A Faulty Chromosome's new album Craving to be Coddled So We Feel Fake-Safe... is a sugar rush of pent up feelings concerning doubt, lies and half-truths, misunderstanding, propaganda and fear, all boiling over and pouring out in a smart, honest, frustrated anger.. the kind you can only get from a 10-year-old who doesn't trust the government. For some reason, this fan video just hits all those feelings with something as simple as toys in a museum—these inanimate objects; action figurines symbolic of diversionary and empty fun, faked heroism, teachers of assumed gender and social roles—all of them blurred together in dizzying disarray, like you've just gone cross-eyed from drinking too much Jolt Cola.
