On this rework of the track “Station Eleven” the two Canadian artists trade between tape manipulated piano lines, swelling tones and digital artifacts that swoop in to introduce a new tonal shift, percussive measure or melodic phrase. It’s a beautifully drafted composition that really lets those heavily pawed piano lines to hang in suspended animation, swept to the rafters with a upswell of warm, melodic currents.
