We are big fans of the Italian composer and sound artist Drum & Lace over here. With “Sisters” an agitated synth line flows into the ebb of a gentle, oceanic pull from the source. Drum & Lace states that the track is “about intuition and sisterhood. The waltz-like motif that is played by the modular synths, together with the ocean waves field-records and looped vocals invokes in me a deep sense of connection to something very primal and instinctual- a symbiosis.”
