The icy white peaks jutting into a tempered white background perfectly forecast the mood of Marcello Liverani's first in their "Inner" series. "Inner (A)" explores analog synth timbre and gorgeous drone soundscapes in relationship to a propulsive rhythm created by an acoustic piano and loops of complimentary ambient sounds. It's a beautifully composed track that creates just enough tension to keep the listener engaged while not overwhelming the overall prettiness of the intersecting drones and ambient loops swirling beneath.
