Returning back to a series of stream of consciousness recordings of minimal guitar work drafted during the winter of 2019, Western North Carolina queer ambient drone artist Paulastretch has delicately sketched together these ideas and fragments into a warm ambient composition that gathers meaning on each pass. On "Star" we hear slightly warbled guitar phrases buried under a soft blanket of tape hiss with ringing tones surfacing in emotional rivulets of sound set free from the flowing body of the composition. Grade A work.
