The UK based experimental electronic artist David Curington utilizes math theorems that have been “structurally highlighted, voice recorded and then distorting filters, digital synths and audio recordings applied in accordance with the highlighted structure.” The result is a cut-up technique where the human voice undergoes a variety of filters and techniques to create a disorienting, completely engrossing composition where the unexpected cut off or shift leaves the listener anticipating the theory applied as much as the musical quality.
