Arash Safaian & pianist Sebastian Knauer have created a gorgeous interpretation of  Beethoven’s 7th Symphony from 1812. Electronic music legend Matthew Herbert has remixed the track and stretches out this calm piano solo rework, by slowing it down, in extreme, so the melodies are bent to another dimension. The whole process is visualised by a hypnotizing music video from multimedia artist Mika Johnson, who forges a visual remix of Busby Berkeley dance choreographies from 1930 Classical Hollywood interlaced with a contemporary YouTube Tai Chi routine. Drift away and experience a remix that spawns over two centuries. Brilliant work by these collaborators.
