Built around a sturdy piano track that offers cavernous space between notes and an ambient house inflected arpeggio that runs just slightly below the surface, the Israel-based artist Yair Cohen’s melancholy and beautiful composition is both dizzying and nerve-calming. A gorgeous combination that combines Glass-style minimalism with gorgeous droning overtones that exist just a bit in the red. Rewards repeat listens.
