Micah Pick - "First Wave"

Striking a middle distance somewhere between Hudson Mohawke and Ulrich Schnauss, the American electronic artist Micah Pick has created an engaging and buoyant electronic composition with “First Wave” - a deeply intuitive approach to this kind of propulsive but knotty electronic music. Of the track, the press release states that it is full of, “Glitchy overdriven synths and deeply resonant prepared piano are underpinned by a driving techno beat. On top of this bed of energy a melodic and organic synth line rises to propel the track forward” Big recommend for fans of either of the artists I mentioned.
