ATLÉTICO CHIPSET - "RECUERDOS DE UN SUEÑO CODIFICADO"

The Argentinian post-rock / ambient group Atlético Chipset set controls for the heart of the sun with the gorgeous track "Recuerdos De Un Sueño Codificado". Matching honey-sweet drones dripping with reverb and delay with a highly melodic and propulsive guitar lines that seem ever-ascending in their trajectory,  Atlético Chipset seem to be channeling the chiller elements of bands like Emeralds and Fuck Buttons with this swelling composition. Full of dynamic stops, starts and melodic key changes, "Recuerdos De Un Sueño Codificado" introduces a high level of variability in a genre codified on minimalism. It feels really nice to be making an Emeralds comparison in 2021, I just gotta say.
