Franco Esteve - "Dimensional Drift"

Puerto Rican composer Franco Esteve has created a beautiful and transportive work that is designed to create a purposefully relaxing and calming environment meant for meditation. Normally I am a bit averse to this work, but with “Dimensional Drift” Esteve hits something just right - a calming but deeply melodic take on ambient and new age music that feels organic and lived in. Of the track, the press release states, “Dimensional Drift is a new age-style ambient song that is both meditative and relaxing while subtly suggesting other themes as the listener drifts through dimensions of sound. It was originally written for Mallorca 360‘s season 4 soundtrack and its 360-degree, virtual reality, relaxing videos. The music and sounds are meant to transport you beyond the videos and unto a higher plane of meditation and relaxation as you move beyond yourself and float, adrift through space.”
