Gifts from Crows - "Forever Surrendering"

The UK based neo-classical artist Gifts from Crows has come in with another stunning and contemplative release with “Forever Surrendering”. Nostalgia inducing piano melodies weave purposefully through plaintive violin lines like tendrils of smoke through green wood. A meditation on the creative process itself, the choreography on this piece reminds us that we are always seeing an opaque glass - we see the outline but never the actor when we call down the muses. Of the piece the press release states, “The title 'Forever Surrendering' is taken from a poem called 'Blended Senses' by Nigel Ayres. To me, those two words perfectly encapsulate the artistic experience, the state within which the creative moment happens. To be an artist means to allow yourself to be open, to allow things to flow through you. The liminal space between attention and meditation is where the spark of inspiration occurs and it is the artist's lot to be present in that moment.”
