Hiram - "First Light"

Hiram’s excellent “First Light” from the album Yucca Music was “recorded outdoors in Joshua Tree National Park, using analog synthesizers with the frequencies of living plants.” Using these modulating frequencies controlled by the biological mechanisms of the Yucca, Hiram reaches crystaline drones, rich pads and sun-seeking upward ascension. Of the track, the artist states, “In an era where our connection to the environment is often overlooked, "Yucca Music" is a reminder of the deep interdependence between humanity and the planet we call home. The work is an invitation to pause, listen, and reconnect with the fragile ecosystems that surround us.”
