Olivia Belli - "Mirando"

The Italian composer and pianist Olivia Belli has created an achingly beautiful composition on “Mirando”. Contemplative, spare and moving, “MIrando” reaches several peaks when joined by a single violin. The pace quickens and the track begins to soar. The accompanying video is a perfect mood piece to the track. Of the composition, the press release states, “"Mirando" is a tribute to one of the places dearest to Olivia, Recanati and the Colle dell'Infinto where the great poet Giacomo Leopardi conceived the beloved poem “L'Infinito”. The melody, little by little more moving, reaches a peak, to then retrace its steps and lead us back to where the strings enter to support the harmony and melody.”
