tenebrous MITCHELL - "THE HEART IS A COMPASS"

tenebrous MITCHELL is a collaboration between Scottish poet Gerry Mitchell and Steve Gullick's tenebrous LIAR project. "The Heart is a Compass" is an exploration of the human condition in both spoken and wordless poetry.  Gerry Mitchell's voice resonates over a sea of droning brass overtones, plucked piano strings, washes of percussive noise and Satie-like melodies. It's an affecting combination - a melancholy and stark companions when the walk home feels even darker and more desolate.
