Ahren Merz - "Delusional Affection"

Based out of Zurich Switzerland, the neo-classical composer Ahren Merz created “Delusional Affection” around the artists interpretation of “Salvador Dalí's painting 'Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening'. The composition specifically portrays Dalí's emotions towards his muse Gala, which involve fear, unconditional love and compulsive feelings. The atmosphere of the composition is best described as an eerie landscape morphing into warm waves of sunlight and dust, eventually revealing their purpose.” Starting with a cycle of human breath, the track opens into some beautiful vistas of piano and string led neo-classical music that circle around each other like two tired lovers.
