CHARLOTTE ROSE BENJAMIN - "BACK TO THE FUTURE"

An improbably spot-on rendering of 90's alt-singer-songwriter by Martha's Vineyard based Charlotte Rose Benjamin. Out on the always lovely Moshi Moshi Records, "Back to the Future" -  the wistful and worried composition - with a roaring chorus - is emphasized with an absolutely lovely video traipsing through the sleepy vacation town of empty fields and endless forests. The outro is what really kills me, a minimalist repetition of the tracks themes until the ear-hook of the bass line becomes fully implanted in your head for days and days.
