“Assured Listening Experience” by David Currington is a thrilling piece of abstract audio that snuck its way into our ears early this year. “Assured Listening Experience” is described as “something between an ambient track, musique concrete, an electronic symphony in three movements, and the results of a corporate word cloud generated by the prompt “listening”, typed into a search engine, used as training data for audio producing AI, then automatically emailed as an 8-bit mp3 to a mastering engineer breaking down in tears”.
