Foreign Body Sensation - "Innumerable Dreams in Which I Could Fly"

Out on Dune Altar, the new album by Foreign Body Sensation The Echo is in Code is full of these arcing and graceful passages of sculpted ambient tones that rise and fall like visible sine waves brushed against the sky. Louie Schulz is a gifted ambient artist who knows his chops and displays a composition full of artful timing and high ranges of dynamics.

From the press release, “a classically trained musician, Schultz refined his pop sensibilities in the bands Army Navy and Nightjacket. Still, while Foreign Body Sensation obliquely utilizes pop economics, The Echo Is in Code was born from the skills Schultz has acquired as a music editor and composer, who has collaborated with the likes of Mark Mothersbaugh, Cliff Martinez, Terrance Blanchard, and Paul Haslinger (of Tangerine Dream).”

A total otherworldly sound is displayed here that is best played at ear-bleeding levels.
