Growing out from glowing ambient pads, the subtle organic percussion and soaring synths from the Norway based Frolin on “Anticipation” are perfect palate cleansers from the insane grist mill of modern life. Sounding down in the deep, the rolling percussive measures - both as an individual element and as a textural feature on these waves of tonal bliss - are highly impressionistic and deeply felt. According to Frolin, “Anticipation” was written as an “ambient soundscape written to soothe.”
