Named after the newly coined phrase of a sense of emotional and existential distress caused by the loss of home or environment due to climate change, Solastagia is informed by the works of Tim Hecker, Aphex Twin and Godspeed!. “Restless” is a perfect slice of this work that is deeply unsettling yet subtle in it’s delivery - minor tone pads are mixed with crushing noise and tape-warped melodies that interval in eerie irregularity.
