Leaps - "Close"

Who doesn’t love some haunting Future Garage as the days get shorter and colder? “Close” is a standout track by UK artist Leaps and incorporates some of my favorite elements - “oneiric vocal(s) over haunting pianos, hypnotic pads and diaphanous garage beat, evoking late night yearning for connection in an unforgiving cityscape.” Lovely work. Fans of Bicep, Aphex Twin and Sound of Fractures will find a lot to love here. Of the track the press release states, ““'Close' is inspired by a feeling of edging closer towards your destination. When writing 'Close' I felt a strong urge to be closer to someone. I was inspired by physical and spiritual intimacy as well as being excited to open up a new chapter that could go beyond the bounds of my imagination.”
