MOCHITSUKI - "ARE YOU MAD"

"Guitar driven but all efforts taken to destroy any semblance of traditional guitar sounds in post production." The Jersey City based Math-Rock / Noise-Rock band have created a completely unhinged, dystopian world of NPC characters living out a pre-programmed hell. Soundtracking this is a band with guitars tuned to short, static bursts of data-skronk, a propulsive rhythm section that keeps pushing everything into the red through inhuman tempos and triggered breakbeats. Even when soloing the guitars sound completely fried and turned out. A fantastic trip for fans of bands like Hella and Lightning Bolt.
