NEULAND (TANGERINE DREAM'S PETER BAUMANN & PAUL HASLINGER) - "LONGING IN MOTION"

Neuland is a long awaited project by former Tangerine Dream members Peter Baumann and Paul Haslinger. While the embryo of Neuland started 30 years ago as a different side project - Blue Room - the two synth legends have been carrying this project to term for three decades. The end result is blissful ambient music with gentle, surging arpeggios, crystalline drones, distant thunderoll percussion and a general celestial uplift. Legends in their own right, Neuland is still some of the more exciting synth-based ambient music I've heard all year.
