Inspired in part by, “Inspired by: moving to the desert, subjectivity in a data atmosphere, neurological disorder diagnosis, sensuality. Constructed using techno music tools but crooked. Broken techno. Recorded during semi improvised sessions in a spam approach on streaming sites such as Bigo, Younow, Omegle and Chaturbate.” We hear each element here and it’s inspiration seeping out around the corners. The openness of the desert, the claustrophobic individual sounds being birthed and dying alone, broken beats spooling out and collapsing and the aleatoric sensory overload of jumping from topic to topic of sites like Omegle. The constant through this is the human voice attempting to communicate some implied meaning through the never-ending stream of data. Fans of Autechre, Eartheater and Squarepusher should take note here.
