VAAAL - "CRINKLED AND CONFUSED"

Lovely work here by the composer and ambient artist VAAAL with “Crinkled and Confused”. Coming in waves, the sound of a choir breaking apart at a million of different fractures floods the audio field but allows plenty of silence and space between each lapping revolution. The warm, spectral sound of analog synthesizers and sound design eddy together in a devastatingly large but simple piece. Of the piece, VAAAL states “This is one of my most personal and emotional performance on analog synthesizers to date. It's about having feelings of inadequacy, both individually as well as for mankind in general. Very depressive I know, but there's also glimmers of hope in there. Can we turn it around?”
