VVV - "HOW MANY TIMES"

We are big Holodeck Records fans over here at the Tome. The Austin based label has consistently put out forward thinking and cutting edge electronic music for the past decade. The Austin based experimental artist VVV presents a dark and brooding 2-step / garage track that according to Holodeck, is  "inspired by the surge in global authoritarianism and the ruthless crackdown on civil disobedience, VVV’s brooding composition is a stirring dive into both dramatic minimalism and political commentary." On "How Many Times" we hear haunting vocal samples under a signature garage kick and processed snares that sound like they are grinding away in some post-industrial factory that has been closed for years. Perfect stuff.
