We Will Intersect - "We Will Intersect II"

In the busy, brooding and often quite beautiful composition by We Will Intersect we hear the intersection or rather the deft maneuvering (and occasional collision) of piano, trumpet, drums and electronics. The post-jazz, electro-acoustic ensemble is made up of Australian artists including improvising pianist Adrian Lim-Klumpes, of Triosk and Tangents fame, featuring close collaborators Nick Calligeros on trumpet and laptop, Miles Thomas on drums and Nicholas Meredith aka producer KCIN on an assortment of live electronics. The result is a free-flowing and tightly wound piece of highly experimental work that draws out and exploits the richness and possibilities of each member’s approach to their instrument.
