Zeta Io - "In the Flowering of Her Fields" / "Humility"

Two new tracks from Zeta Io finds the Florida based artist plumbing some of the deeper and darker spaces of their output and coming back with two pensive and brooding compositions with “In the Flowering of Her Fields” and “Humility”. “Humility” is a slowburner composition that slowly accrues percussive weight as it continues until it slowly folds into itself and the percussive measures become more and more pronounced. It’s a brilliant transformation that is worth taking. “In the Flowering of Her Fields” is definitely one of the more noisier and darker tracks Zeta Io has done. Snarling bass tones are warped and shaped to create a deep pool of tension that eventually finds the light after making a gradual ascent to sunlight.
