Birmingham Music Library - "Sutton Park Fires, Summer 199x"

The inspiration for “Sutton Park Fires, Summer 199x” were inspired by memories of Birmingham Music Library had of a fire that occurred in a park near his home, which upon further investigation, the artist can find no mention of. What do we do with these pieces of memory that seem out of time and history? The brooding, delicate melodies and tape distorted processing that these memories are explored provide some kind of answer. They are processed and put into the ether through music. A chance to release them and hope they find purchase somewhere.
