Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

CLOUD OPACITY - "LAVENDER SAGE"

CLOUD OPACITY - "LAVENDER SAGE"

It's going to be an interesting experience listening back to music produced during the lockdown. There is so much nostalgia for crowds, dancing and socialization that beyond a few examples I haven't heard much truly depressing music coming out of this time. Much of it, like "Lavender Sage" by Cloud Opacity, mingles this nostalgia with a bit of sadness, but a lot of forward looking optimism towards post-pandemic life. "Lavender Sage" expertly nestles those emotions with minor chord synth arrangements atop a heavily percussive, beat-oriented groove. Some more truly inspired electronic work by the Canadian musician whose work skirts the line between ambient and beat-focused electronic music.
