EORN - "Mladost"

The Bulgarian artist EORN has produced a heavily emotional piece of distorted ambient passages that push just a bit into the red without fully veering into noise territory. That razors edge, deftly displayed here with “Mladost” is one of my favorite sounds in music. There is a strong melody pulling these overwhelming sounds through the eye of a needle. Themes of regret and nostalgia are heavy here. Of the track EORN states, “"Mladost" means "Youth" in Bulgarian. The track is a drone ambient piece with lots of distortion. The mood that the composition carries is nostalgic and cinematic. I dedicated this track to some old friends and those winter raves I really miss.”
