McKenzie Stubbert - "Falling"

Taken from the upcoming album Waiting Room, the pianist McKenzie Stubbert presents a heavily percussive approach to the piano that seems to wring harmonic phrasings from mid-air. Using a toy box approach to the supporting melodies here, “Falling” is a sonically and thematically rich solo piano composition that is illustrated perfectly by the dance performance visual accompaniment.
