Proud Creature returns with a contemplative piano improvisation that when put through extensive processing becomes a living, breathing organism full of dramatic swells and melodies building and then collapsing back on themselves. “Sliding Stars” provides a peek into this creative process, the building and breaking back down in regular intervals - something longer held than human breathing, perhaps the cadence of a porpoise coming up for air?
