Music as immediate catharsis is a theme that runs through the Polish artist alerity’s latest single “I don’t deserve this”. Spoken plainly in the title, the track reflects on a difficult period of the artist’s life where they felt they did not deserve the treatment handed to them by a close friend. The track seems to soundtrack this well. The worried arpeggios, the cathartic click of the track falling into place all of this seems to track a balm to a fraying mind. Excellent work.
