Ben Osborn - "Between"

The Berlin based, UK-born musician Ben Osborn presents a forlorn and tragically beautiful solo piano piece with “Between”. Presented as a “"Between" is a dusky piano and analogue synthesiser instrumental, incorporating the natural ambience of a fireplace in winter and the unique sonic surroundings of the remote Nonostar Studio” one gets the sense of close intimacy and proximity to this sound. Room noises, shifting piano benches and incidental sounds are highlighted hear creating their own aural texture surrounding the deeply felt piano lines.
