Lux Prima - "Hurlants"

For some reason the pairing of the song title “Hurlants” and the artist Lux Prima have some kind of strange “cellar door” effect on me. I love seeing them together and I love saying them in my mind. Perhaps this strange mashing of adjoining sounds and intersecting melodies is at the heart of the UK artist’s work with “Hurlants”. Lux Prima folds together rapidly arpeggiating melodies with bright, resonating notes bouncing off one another with some deep 808 percussive hits that go straight through your chest cavity.
