PAST PALMS - "MIDNIGHT SUN"
On "Midnight Sun" the lo-fi producer imagines an aural world when the sun reaches it's apex, rather than the frigid midnight sun of the arctic. It's easy to bask in these lapping and circular breathing sound elements that come together to make a textural, and fully lived in sound world. Harps, strings and the distant beckon of the human voice are washed to shore by the lapping waves of modular synth noise. It's a beautiful and completely blissed out four and half minutes.
