Brendan Eder Ensemble - "#3 (Rhubarb) (Aphex Twin Cover)"

Brendan Eder Ensemble continues their exploration of interpreting Aphex Twin’s ambient work with “#3 (Rhubarb)”. Utilizing “2 Bassoons, 2 Clarinets, Flute, Sax, and Bass” the ensemble takes on the somber, minimalist passage with the utmost reverence. These overlapping passages create a delicate push and pull that creates waves upon waves of pure cosmic drift. As part of the upcoming album Therapy, Eder states that, “The quest for Therapy came during a period of deep spiritual curiosity. Eder was avidly watching testimonies of near death experience survivors (NDEs), pouring over books of Theosophical artwork and philosophy, and processing experiences of grief, uncertainty and love. He wanted to know the threshold between the spiritual and physical dimensions, and create music that could evoke its shape and texture”
