These past two years have been a surreal, almost dreamlike existence that takes shape when large, macro-level changes take shape and our connection to the world at large begins to become negotiated with a new sense of suspicion and / or wonder. Much like Eluvium’s Similes Hellbach’s album and the single “Traum und Tristesse” walk this linear path - personified by lovingly crafted drones, crystalline ambient pads and a general sense of drift.
